Siris Craft Brewery: multiple awards for the brewery from Serres at the Greek Beer Awards 2024

Siris Craft Brewery once again participated in the Greek Beer Awards, with impressive results, winning important distinctions. The judges, through a blind tasting of beers from Greece and other Eastern and Southern European countries, awarded Voreia Pilsner with the top title of the event, Top Lager, as well as the gold award in the Modern Pilsner category. In total, Siris Craft Brewery won 5 awards, as Voreia Imperial Porter, Voreia Irish Red and Happy Brewers New England IPA also came out on top.
More specifically, Voreia Pilsner with its exuberant yet subtle floral and citrus aromas won the judges’ preference and was named Top Lager for 2024, ranking it as the best Lager style beer in the competition this year. In addition, Voreia Pilsner also won the Gold Award in the Modern Pilsner category, while Voreia Imperial Porter, a special recipe with notes of Madagascar Vanilla, coffee beans and 7-year aged rum, won both impressions and the Silver Award in the Strong Stout & Porter category. Voreia Irish Red was also honoured, where the caramel aftertaste and biscuit flavours gave it the Bronze award in the Red Ale category. Finally, Happy Brewers New England IPA, a recipe created in the second half of 2023, won the Bronze award in the Modern IPA category, and stood out with its distinctive tropical aromas, with notes of mango, melon and peach.

These awards confirm Siris Craft Brewery’s commitment to quality and authentic craft brewing, at an important time for the brewery, which this year celebrates 10 years of history. Based on authenticity and dedication to their creative and easy-to-drink craft recipes, Siris Craft Brewery’s brewers produce delicious beers, which for the last 10 years have been winning major awards every year both in Greece and abroad. Siris Craft Brewery has received the Worlds Best Beer award for Voreia Stout Barrel Aged, in the prestigious international competition “Concours International de Lyon 2023”, with a Bronze Medal in the international competition “Brussels Beer Challenge” of 2015, for Voreia Stout.In addition, it has been distinguished in previous Greek Beer Awards: top ale for Voreia Smoked Amber Ale at the Greek Beer Awards 2021, Top Lager for Happy Brewers Peach

The Greek Beer Awards have been held in Athens since 2017, inviting experienced judges from Europe and Greece, who select and award prizes after a blind tasting. The aim of the event is to promote Greek beer, both on the domestic and international scene, as well as to promote Greek brewers.
