Voreia craft beer won the top title

World’s Best Beer and 2 Gold Awards at the Concours International de Lyon 2023

Siris microbrewery’s craft beer VOREIA has triumphed at the prestigious international competition “Concours International de Lyon 2023”.

Among thousands of different entries from 48 countries in this year’s competition, the judges singled out VOREIA craft beer with Barrel Aged Stout winning the top title “World’s Best Beer” and together with Imperial Porter, also winning 2 Gold Medals in the respective beer categories.

The competition, which takes place every year in the French gastronomic capital of Lyon, attracts thousands of entries from all over the world, vying for a place in the wine, beer and spirits categories.

With its intense roasted aromas and notes of chocolate, coffee and caramel, VOREIA Barrel Aged Stout secured an incredible score of 99/100, leading it to the top of the judges’ preferences. This particular aromatic identity is due to its elaborate aging process in whiskey barrels, and it has a full and dense body, leaving an intense aftertaste with a dark chocolate bitterness.

Similarly, VOREIA Imperial Porter could not fail to “steal the show” in its own category, bringing the second Gold Medal to Siris microbrewery, thanks to its unique recipe. With Ceylon cinnamon, Madagascar vanilla, cardamom, tonka beans, aged 7 year old rum, as well as freshly roasted exotic coffee with an intense complexity of fruit, flowers and chocolate elements, this beer is the ultimate tasting experience.
